- 2018 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021
I was born in Salt Lake City and grew up in Fruit Heights, UT. I graduated from Davis High School and quickly went to Snow College (Ephraim, UT) for one year before serving a two-year LDS mission in Monterrey, Mexico. Upon completion of my mission, I returned to Snow College, met my wonderful wife (Ashlee Judd), and finished my associate degree. We then moved up to the University of Utah where I completed my bachelor’s degree in finance.
During my time at the University of Utah, I worked part-time for the LDS Church and later full-time at Zions Bank. I have worked for Zions Bank in both the National Real Estate Group (Salt Lake City) and local Real Estate Banking Group (Provo). In 2012, I began working for Central Bank and I manage Central Bank’s Downtown Provo Office.
My family and I have lived in Vineyard since March 2013, and it has been better than we ever expected. Ashlee and I have three children: Kelli, Carson, and Taylor. We love the small town feel and we are excited to raise our children here like many of you. Our family enjoys the many outdoor recreational activities located in Utah, and we are so happy we picked Vineyard as our home as it provides us easy access to all of the activities. We are also very excited to be a part of the continuing heritage passed down by the original residents of Vineyard. They made the tough decisions that created Vineyard, and we are thrilled to be a part of the history that will be passed down to future residents.
After moving into Vineyard, my wife and I felt it was important to get involved in the growth of our city as this would always be our children's "hometown"; we wanted to do everything within our power to make it great for years to come. At that time, the city looked for interested residents to participate as alternates for the Planning Commission. I was lucky enough to be selected as an alternate member and then continue to serve as the Planning Commission Chairman.
As a member of Vineyard’s City Council, I am excited to use my talents to help with any issue facing the city. I’m particularly interested in the City and RDA budget. I hope to continue to see our transportation projects continue to move forward so that the city can bring in the commercial and retail businesses we need to provide services to Vineyard Residents.
